I design gardens that suit the needs and tastes of my customers.
I have two passions. First, to design a garden that supports the architecture, acts as a frame for the architecture, showing off the architecture at its best. Second, to build a garden that suits the specific needs and tastes of you, the owner. My special skill is to combine these two requirements in a form that adds value to the property.
To start the process, I ask you to set up a meeting with me where I come and visit your property and talk to you about your plans, needs and requirements.
During this consultation, I will talk through your wishes, discuss what will work and what may not, what will best suit the architecture, topography and neighbourhood. We will discuss materials, styles, approximate costs (if possible) and the general direction that the garden should go.
At the end of this meeting, both you and we here at stone & tree should have a rough idea of the direction in which the project could go. After this meeting we will send you a bid which covers the form and cost of initial planning – if necessary.
As soon as the design has been presented and agreed upon we will then proceed to formulate a detailed bid for the actual landscaping.
When the project is completed we can offer a maintenance service.
